LOAD BED. Fixed platform with stainless steel ball transfer units.
Lead-on rollers and lift-up stops at both sides.
Container end-stops with vertical restraint are remotely operated
from either side of the dolly.
RUNNING GEAR. The Four Wheels are, 15 x 4 ½-8 x 3.00D 3-stage Super Elastic
solid rubber tyres on two-piece x 5mm wheel-rims. Owen Holland’s unique flange mounted, five stud, taper roller
bearing hub system (separately detachable axle-ends) is used.
STEERING. On front wheels via turntable mounted on a heavy-duty,
zinc-plated, Ball Bearing ring.
BRAKES. Highly effective parking brakes operate on the front wheels and
are actuated when the tow bar is automatically latched in the raised
position. A foot pedal releases the latch and the brakes are
released when the tow bar is lowered to towing height.

STANDARD COUPLINGS. The Tow Bar - is fitted
with a grip-handle. The forged steel eye has a 50 mm diameter hole
and a ring section diameter of 30 mm. The tow bar cannot contact the
ground when allowed to fall.
The Rear Hitch - is a forged steel safety hook with automatic
sprung latch.
STANDARD FINISH / FEATURE. Hot Dipped Galvanised to ISO1461. High-Visibility markings on surround-frame corners and both sides
of tow-bar.
The Dolly is stackable (up to 4-high), via locations
in-built on the chassis-frame.
